It's the most beautiful season of the year - Autumn! After such a hot and dry summer, I'm certain we are all ready for cooler days. That perfect 65-degree temperature joined by a gentle cool breeze that causes the amber colored leaves to sway in the trees. Maybe not so much in Florida, but it's easy to envision.

Now that the season is changing, it is time to change things up with sustainable fall decor, fall outfits, and cruelty-free fall beauty staples.

  1. Pumpkin Spice Haircare - Saving the best for first. Viori has launched their limited edition fall collection of pumpkin spice shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. Last year, it sold so fast I didn't have a chance to try it. This year, I finally have it. I can honestly say I waited all year for this pumpkin shaped shampoo bar, and I love it too much to use it. Pumpkins are the highlight of the fall season, and of course pumpkins have a special personal meaning to me (find out here). So, if you are a pumpkin fiend as well, then definitely try this collection before it sells out. It's cruelty-free, vegan, and made from all natural ingredients.

  1. Corn Husk & Silk bow - A simple, quick, and eco-friendly fall decor made from a corn's husk and silk. Simply peel the husk and silk from the corn. Lay them out next to each other and slowly gather them all together at the middle. Use a ribbon to tie them together, spread out the husks, and now tie your "bow" to your desired location.

  1. Old Plaid Shirt Pillow Cover - Many of us have an old plaid shirt that we are considering putting in the donation box. Before you do, consider instead converting it into a pillow cover. You just need a pair of scissors, a measuring tape, and a sewing matching or just needle and thread. Make sure to leave the buttons on for easy removal afterwards. And just like that, your sofa cushions are all dressed up for the season.

  1. Non-toxic fall candles - Honestly, I can't say I have a favorite fall candle scent because I enjoy a variety of them. But I can say that I love a non-toxic wood wick candle for that wood crackling noise. There are 2 candles I would like to try. The first is a Pumpkin Spice soy wood wick candle on Etsy. The second is the Nosferatu candle made of coconut apricot wax with a cotton wick. Try these candles and let me know what you think.

  1. Fall Scented Cleaners - Swap your lavender and lemon scented surface cleaners for this limited edition of Mrs. Meyer's Fall Multi-Surface Cleaner Collection. Not only cruelty-free, but non-toxic as well.

  1. Edible Decor - Instead of shopping for fake pumpkins to adorn your kitchen counter and dining table, visit your local market to find pumpkins of all shapes, sizes, and colors. You can also display fall sugar cookies in a dessert stand with a dome.

  2. Sustainable Fall Fashion Retail - The amount of fall fashion advertisement we get every day is enough to temp anyone to add a lovely new coat to their wardrobe. However, before you do go the "brand-new retail price" route, you need to check ThreadUp and Poshmark. These second-hand retail apps have a surplus of options for fall attire in mostly great conditions at reduced prices. And then, of course, there is the option of you selling your unwanted attire on there as well.

  1. Reusable Fall Coffee Tumbler - Since it is Pumpkin Spice Latte season, why not sip on your coffee in style. Replace the disposable cups that the coffee shop gives you with a sustainable, reusable, and personalized coffee tumbler. There are so many cute options on Etsy, it's hard to choose just one. This tumbler in particular is one of my favorites.

  1. Fall Skincare - There are many options for fall skincare products, but there is one product in particular that uses pumpkin. Banish Pumpkin Enzyme Masque is said to give an instant fall glow. Banish is cruelty-free, vegan, and uses all natural ingredients.

  1. Fall Makeup - It's time change up our palettes to warmer colors. I've had my eye on REM Beauty's Starlet Lustrous Liquid Eyeshadow in Metallic Bronze and Iridescent Taupe. For the lips, I'm loving the Dark Berry. REM Beauty is cruelty-free and vegan, so you can look beautiful without the guilt.

Now, you are totally ready for the fall season. Let me know which of these is your favorite recommendation. I'm excited to give you a few more spooktacular options next month.

XoXo, Ody!
